Introduction

The ‘How To Play’ section guides our users about the fantasy teams and how to play fantasy sports on X1 Games. Follow the steps mentioned below to begin your winning journey on X1 Games fantasy sports application. In this segment, we will cover ‘How To Play Fantasy Cricket on X1 Games app.

Use your knowledge of the game to select 11 players for your fantasy cricket team. You can select up to 8 players for each category - wicketkeepers, batsmen, all-rounders, and bowlers. Remember to stay within the allocated budget of 100 credits.

Step-by-Step Guide to Play Fantasy Cricket

1 Select A Match

To participate in a match, simply click on the match want to make your teams in.

2 Select A Contest

Once you enter a match, you can select from the ‘Contests’ available on the application.

3 Select Your Playing XI
& create ‘multiple’ teams

After selecting the contest, create your own fantasy team by selecting XI players of different ‘categories’. Each player that you select, has ‘credits’ attached to him/her. Users can create a maximum of 15 fantasy teams.

4 Select Your Captain and Vice-Captain

After creating your Playing XI, select the captain and vice-captain that will help you earn extra points.

The chosen captain will get x2 points during the match and the vice-captain will get x1.5 points.

5 Address Verification

In order to join the league and start winning, user must verify their address by uploading the copy of address proof like Aadhaar Card or Driving License.

  • The points for Economy Rate will be awarded to all the players but in case of deductions, the points for negative economy rate will be deducted only for all- rounders and bowlers.
  • The economy rate in case of T20 is counted in 2nd over, in case of ODI in 5th over, not counted in case of Test Match & from the first over in case of T10.
  • The captain and vice-captain you choose to lead your team are awarded 2x and 1.5x points of the original total they score. However, in case of the deductions, the points of your captain are deducted as 2x only. The same is applicable in case of vice-captain.
  • In case a substitute replaces any on-field player in any circumstance, then the substitute will not be awarded any points for his/her part on the field. However, in case a player is announced as a Concussion Substitute, then the player shall be awarded (2) points for making an appearance on the field along with the points awarded on the basis of his/her on-field performance.
  • In case any on-field player is transferred in the middle of the series or game or already scheduled update, then such change shall not be reflected in the X1 Games roster immediately. The change might be reflected from the next scheduled update. The player will be available for selection on X1 Games amid the change made between the game or already scheduled update, but the player will not be awarded any points in X1 Games.
  • X1 Games uses various reliable sources for collecting data to ease point tabulation, and once a match has been marked as completed, the points are allotted, the winners are declared, and the winnings are distributed, no further adjustments will be made. However, until the status of the game is not shown as completed and is shown to be “In Process,” the points are subject to change.
  • The players are awarded starting points on the basis of the announcements made regarding their inclusion in the playing team for the game. In a scenario wherein a player, after being included in the team sheet for the match is unable to start the match, the player will not be awarded any points. However, the points shall be awarded to any player who acts as a replacement of such players who were included in the team sheet, but were unable to start the match and participate in the game.
  • If a match is being completed through the D/L method and a team plays for 50 overs in the first innings, it is mandatory for the other team to play at least 20 overs in ODIs and 5 Overs in T20s for the second innings.
  • No points will be awarded to the users during the Super Over of the game
Impact player substitutes rules:
  • All Impact player substitutes in the match will receive +2 points for being announced at the time of lineups. These players will also score points as per X1 Games's Fantasy Point System, if and when they contribute to the match.
  • Substitutes that are not categorised as Concussion substitutes, X-factor substitutes or Impact Player substitutes will not score or receive any points for their contribution to the match.

X-factor substitutes rules:
  • The 'X-factor Player' rule will be only applicable to the Australian T20 League. According to this rule, a team can replace a player from the initial XI with the 12th or 13th man on the team sheet. The X Factor player will be available after completion of 10th over of 1st inning. The player who is being replaced hasn't bowled more than one over or hasn't batted yet in the game.

  • The players will not be given any points for being included in the Starting 11 in Warm-up match formats.
  • A user is allowed to choose 7 players in LIVE FANTASY and 2nd Innings. Out of these seven players, a maximum of 6 players can be selected from one team. There is no restriction on mandatory selection of all-rounders, batters, bowlers or wicket keepers. A user will be allocated a total of 65 credit points to create a team.
  • Users will be asked to choose four players from their team who will fetch 4x,3x,2x and 1.5x points, respectively. Rest of the three players will fetch 1x points. Unlike normal fantasy where a user gets to choose Captain and Vice-Captain for 2x and 1.5x points respectively, it is little different in LIVE fantasy.
  • Please note that users have to create separate teams for each LIVE fantasy slot and 2nd Innings.
  • The stats (runs, wicket, strike rate, economy rate etc.) of the players will vary for each category. For example, a batsman who is batting from 1st over and plays till the 10th over and if a user plays LIVE fantasy in 5.1 to 9.6 over, the stats will be considered only for the chosen slot, which is 5.1-9.6 over.
  • X1 Games will declare the match complete in two conditions: Either 40% of the balls in the selected slot of LIVE fantasy must be bowled or the live match must be declared complete, even if 40% balls are not bowled.
    For instance, if the live match is completed or declared complete (by Officials) before 40% of the balls in your selected slot/innings are bowled, X1 Games will declare the slot /innings complete. Also, the result of the selected slot/innings will be declared on Taj Games application on the ongoing LIVE match if 40% of the balls are bowled or the live match is declared complete before 40% balls are bowled.
  • X1 Games, at its discretion, can adjust the deadline of the selected slot/innings on the app by up to 6 balls before the beginning of the LIVE match.
  • A user can check the scorecard and ranking of LIVE FANTASY in the respective category tabs.
  • If a user chooses to make the fantasy team in the second innings, fantasy points will be offered only for the players’ performance in the 2nd innings.
  • Stats, leagues, contests for every category will be different and not be clubbed at any circumstance.
  • Fantasy points of first and second innings cannot be clubbed together.
  • Entry fees and league size for live fantasy will vary respectively.
  • The points system for each category remains unchanged.
  • Please note that X1 Games will not be liable for any fluctuations in the scorecard after the chosen slot of LIVE fantasy is completed. X1 Games will not be responsible for users’ ranking caused by fluctuations in the respective scorecards.
  • An inning in the game will comprise of 100 balls and an entire game will last two and a half hours.

  • The rules & point system of T-20 cricket shall apply to the game on Taj Games.

  • No fantasy points will be awarded for a maiden over bowled in The Hundred Cricket Tournament.

  • An over in the game shall consist of 5 balls.

  • The point calculation and economy calculation for bowlers will be done on the basis of 5 balls.

  • A bowler will be allowed to deliver up to 2 consecutive overs and 4 overs in whole per game.

  • A strategic time-out of two and a half minutes will be given to each of the bowling side.

  • The powerplay for each side will be of 25 balls (5 overs).

  • During the powerplay, two fielders will be allowed outside the initial 30-yard circle.

  • X1 Games uses various reliable sources for collecting data to ease point tabulation, and once a match has been marked as completed, the points are allotted, the winners are declared, and the winnings are distributed, no further adjustments will be made. However, until the status of the game is not shown as completed and is shown to be “In Process,” the points are subject to change.
  • The players are awarded starting points on the basis of the announcements made regarding their inclusion in the playing team for the game. In a scenario wherein a player, after being included in the team sheet for the match is unable to start the match, the player will not be awarded any points. However, the points shall be awarded to any player who acts as a replacement of such players who were included in the team sheet, but were unable to start the match and participate in the game.
  • If a match is being completed through the D/L method and a team plays for 50 overs in the first innings, it is mandatory for the other team to play at least 20 overs in ODIs and 5 Overs in T20s for the second innings.
  • No points will be awarded to the users during the Super Over of the game
Impact player substitutes rules:
  • All Impact player substitutes in the match will receive +2 points for being announced at the time of lineups. These players will also score points as per X1 Games's Fantasy Point System, if and when they contribute to the match.
  • Substitutes that are not categorised as Concussion substitutes, X-factor substitutes or Impact Player substitutes will not score or receive any points for their contribution to the match.

X-factor substitutes rules:
  • The 'X-factor Player' rule will be only applicable to the Australian T20 League. According to this rule, a team can replace a player from the initial XI with the 12th or 13th man on the team sheet. The X Factor player will be available after completion of 10th over of 1st inning. The player who is being replaced hasn't bowled more than one over or hasn't batted yet in the game.

  • Any X-factor player will be given +2 points only when the player makes an on-field appearance as a substitute and rest of the points will be given on the basis of his in-game performance.
  • Please note that the fantasy points system of normal fantasy & live fantasy are same.
  • The fantasy points system of Sixty Ball Championship is similar to T-10 format.
  • X1 Games allows a total of over 11 players from either side of the competing duo to participate in the game.
  • No points for being included in the playing team, or being called on the field to play will be awarded. The only points that will be given will be based on the scores made during the play on the field.
  • The players will not be given any points for being included in the Starting 11 in Warm-up match formats.
    • A user is allowed to choose 7 players in LIVE FANTASY and 2nd Innings. Out of these seven players, a maximum of 6 players can be selected from one team. There is no restriction on mandatory selection of all-rounders, batters, bowlers or wicket keepers. A user will be allocated a total of 65 credit points to create a team.
    • Users will be asked to choose four players from their team who will fetch 4x,3x,2x and 1.5x points, respectively. Rest of the three players will fetch 1x points. Unlike normal fantasy where a user gets to choose Captain and Vice-Captain for 2x and 1.5x points respectively, it is little different in LIVE fantasy.
    • Please note that users have to create separate teams for each LIVE fantasy slot and 2nd Innings.
    • The stats (runs, wicket, strike rate, economy rate etc.) of the players will vary for each category. For example, a batsman who is batting from 1st over and plays till the 10th over and if a user plays LIVE fantasy in 5.1 to 9.6 over, the stats will be considered only for the chosen slot, which is 5.1-9.6 over.
    • X1 Games will declare the match complete in two conditions: Either 40% of the balls in the selected slot of LIVE fantasy must be bowled or the live match must be declared complete, even if 40% balls are not bowled.
      For instance, if the live match is completed or declared complete (by Officials) before 40% of the balls in your selected slot/innings are bowled, Taj Games will declare the slot /innings complete. Also, the result of the selected slot/innings will be declared on Taj Games application on the ongoing LIVE match if 40% of the balls are bowled or the live match is declared complete before 40% balls are bowled.
    • X1 Games, at its discretion, can adjust the deadline of the selected slot/innings on the app by up to 6 balls before the beginning of the LIVE match.
    • A user can check the scorecard and ranking of LIVE FANTASY in the respective category tabs.
    • If a user chooses to make the fantasy team in the second innings, fantasy points will be offered only for the players’ performance in the 2nd innings.
    • Stats, leagues, contests for every category will be different and not be clubbed at any circumstance.
    • Fantasy points of first and second innings cannot be clubbed together.
    • Entry fees and league size for live fantasy will vary respectively.

    • The powerplay for each side will be of 25 balls (5 overs).
    • During the powerplay, two fielders will be allowed outside the initial 30-yard circle.

AAfter creating your Playing XI, select the captain and vice-captain that will help you earn extra points.

The chosen captain will get x2 points during the match and the vice-captain will get x1.5 points.

  • The individual from the goal scoring team who makes the final pass prior a goal is scored, is awarded Assists for the pass.
  • An Assist is awarded in a situation when:
    • The pass done by the player was intentional, actually resulting in a goal.

    • The pass done was unintentional caused due to the dribbling of ball or touch by the player that led to the goal.

  • The player is not awarded any assist in a situation wherein:
    • A player from the opposite team intentionally or unintentionally touches the ball after the final pass which might change the defined direction of the ball before the final goal is scored.

    • After the assist makes the final pass and before the final goal is scored, two or more players intentionally or unintentionally touch the ball resulting in misleading the ball’s designated direction.

    • The individual finally scoring the goal loses the hold of the ball to any player of the opposing team and then regains the possession of the ball after sometime.

  • Points for assists will be awarded to the player:
    • For winning a Penalty

    • For winning a Free kick

    • For having his shot saved or blocked by a defender, goalkeeper or goalpost, if his teammate scores on the rebound

    • For a cross or pass that results in an own goal

All of the above must result in a successful goal for points to be awarded to the player providing the assist.

  • The goals conceded in a match will be counted only for the players playing on the field regardless of the total playing time of the players.

Chance Created: Chance created is a pass or a cross that becomes instrumental in scoring a goal or creating a goal-scoring opportunity.

Note: If a player gets points for an Assist, then the player will not be awarded points for a Chance Created. For example, if a player takes a shot at a goal and the goalkeeper saves it, the player will be awarded points for Shot on Target.

  • In case, prior conceding a goal, a player is substituted in the game, he will still be eligible for the clean sheet bonus, if he has completed at least 54 minutes on the field.

Interception Won: Interception Won means stealing the ball from the opposing team. A player can come in the way of a pass, dribble or take advantage of poor touch and retains the possession for his team.

  • In case, any of the players are penalized with a red card for any misconduct on the field; he will be continued to be penalized for the goals conceded by his team even after he goes off the field.
  • Point deductions for a red card include any points deducted for yellow cards.
  • The player you select to be the captain of your team will be given 2x the points he scores.
  • The player selected as the vice-captain of your team will be given 1.5x the points he scores.
  • The players are awarded starting points on the basis of the announcements made regarding their inclusion in the playing team for the game. In a scenario wherein a player, after being included in the team sheet for the match is unable to start the match, the player will not be awarded any points. However, the points shall be awarded to any player who acts as a replacement of such players who were included in the team sheet, but were unable to start the match and participate in the game.
  • In case a player, who is not a part of the playing 11 or has not participated even as a substitute, is awarded any red card or yellow card for any off-field activity, he will not be awarded any negative points.
  • Any event during extra time will be considered for awarding points.
  • Any event during penalty shootouts will not be considered for awarding points.
  • In case of any transfer of an on-field player in the intervening period between scheduled updates, such transfer shall not be reflected in the roster of players until the next scheduled update. Please note that while the transferred player will be available for selection in the transfer or team's roster of players in a Contest during the intervening period, no points will be attributed to such transferred player in the course of such contest.
  • For the purpose of point calculation, we will consider any point onwards 54 Minutes and 1 Second as 55 Minutes.
  • Credible and reliable sources are used for the collection of data required for tabulation of points and once the contest has been marked as completed & the winners are declared, no further adjustments will be made in the total points. The points may fluctuate amid the match and are subject to change amid the game until the status is 'In progress' or 'Waiting for review'.
  • If a player earns a penalty or free-kick and their teammate scores a goal, the player is awarded an assist. However, if the same player takes the set piece and scores, in such an event no assist is given to the player.

  • For every opponent, a raider gets out or puts out he will be awarded points for the raid touch.
  • The points for pushing all out will be assigned only to the players who were a part of the starting 7.
  • The points for Getting All out, will be awarded only to the players who were the part of the starting 7.
  • Super 10 can be defined as an event where a raider score 10 or more successful raid points in a single game. Super 10 points can include bonus & touch points but not points awarded to complete team (Points for pushing all out or getting all out)
  • High 5 can be defined as an event where a player scores 5 or more tackle points in a single game.
  • A player shall be awarded Super 10 points only once during a match.
  • A player will continue to score negative (for Getting All out) and positive (for Pushing All out) points, in case he receives any card.
  • In case a player is given a Red Card due to any of its activities then the point deduction for a Red card will include the points deduction for the yellow card and green card. In the same way, the points deductions for a yellow card will include deductions for green card.
  • Any event during extra time will be considered for awarding points.
  • Any event during Golden Raids will not be considered for awarding points.
  • We use credible data collection sources for the tabulation of points on our platform, and once any match is declared as completed on our platform, i.e., the winners have been declared, no further adjustments or amendments will be made. However, the points might keep on changing amid the live game and till the game status is shown as under review.
